Vita Maiorano

Vita is Principal, Business + Family by Family, at The Australian Centre for Social Innovation and leads on developing and implementing strategies to further spread and scale Family by Family – so that more families can thrive.

Having worked across community arts, international and local community development and business leadership – Vita is driven by opportunities to create and implement sustainable approaches to scale social change.  She’s successfully applied principles of co-design to co-create people focused solutions in contexts across Australia, the Pacific and South Asia.

Vita is interested in co-design, social innovation and social entrepreneurship – with a particular focus in exploring the how the three intersect to create scalable social solutions to some of society’s most challenging social issues, ultimately contributing to lasting social and systems change.

Vita will present ‘Family by Family: co-designing with families to creating lasting change’ in the final plenary session on day 1.
